CAPP RACKED PIPETTE TIPS
Manufactured on superb quality, Swiss made injection molds, both Expell and ExpellPlus racked pipette tips offer universal compatibility with great majority of pipette brands on the market. To support a wider range of applications, CAPP tips are available in different lengths within the same volume range. CAPP racked pipette tips come in autoclavable racks, packed in user friendly and space saving dispenser boxes (see picture below). Each box includes 10 racks (8 racks for 1mL tips). Made of virgin polypropylene, all CAPP racked pipette tips are RNase, DNase and Pyrogen free certified. The ExpellPlus racked pipette tips have unique low retention properties, reducing sample binding to minimum and significantly improving your pipetting results. Available as filter and non-filter tips, in sterile and non-sterile versions or as a reload system.

Expell reloading tips system is the perfect choice for users wishing to save on plastic waste and storage space. CAPP reloading tips system is extremely easy to use and most cost effective compared to bulk or racked systems. The refill tips are delivered in handy towers consisting of plates with refill tips. The plates are easy to pick up and insert into the empty racks. CAPP reloading tips plates are fully compatible with all CAPP racks of filter and non filter tips. Empty racks are also available. Both the tips and the racks are autoclavable. Save substantially on plastic consumption and shipping costs by reusing your empty tip racks permanently.

CAPP SHARP REAGENT RESERVOIRS
Capp’s new sterile, disposable reagent reservoirs assist you to be more efficient in your manual liquid handling workflows. The new Capp Sharp Reagent Reservoirs ensure quick work of liquid transfer, whether you are working on ELISA, PCR, or any other suitable protocol.
Constructed from our unique blend of virgin polystyrene, the new reagent reservoirs have a high degree of chemical stability. The material construction allows for a greater range of reagent compatibility across various protocols, and follows Capp’s promise of robust laboratory equipment.
The reservoirs feature an angled interior, which maximizes sample withdrawal during pipetting, whilst also reducing dead volume. This significantly decreases any wastage of precious reagents and sample volume. Each interior slope also features accurate, indelible graduations that give the user clear visibility of reagent volumes from any angle.
With four conveniently located pour spouts, all corners of the reagent reservoir can be used to empty excess liquid for storage. Each spout is crafted to reduce spillage during liquid discharge.
The functional ridge design of Capp Sharp Reagent Reservoirs enables stacking; minimizing the space used during storage. When stacked, the lip at the base of each reagent reservoir serves as a tab for easy separation.

Darkfield microscopes

Understanding Blood Types
All blood consists of plasma, red and white blood cells, and platelets. Your blood type is inherited from your parents and determined by the presence or absence of certain antigens and antibodies. The antigens are protein markers present on the surface of red blood cells, while antibodies are produced in the plasma or liquid portion of the blood. The type of antigen you have tells us what your blood type is.
Depending on the antigen on the red blood cells the blood type is classified by two elements: The ABO grouping system and the Rhesus (Rh) factor which is either present (Rh positive) or not present (Rh-negative). For example, if you have A antigens on your red blood cells, your blood type is A. If someone has both A and B antigens, they are type AB. If you do not have any antigens on the surface of red blood cells, your blood type is O. For each antigen on the blood cell, the opposite antibody is produced in the plasma. For example, type B blood has anti-type A antibodies.
Receiving blood that’s incompatible with one’s own blood type may trigger a serious immune response that can be fatal. While there are more than 20 blood-type systems, ABO and Rh are by far the most important.
